My name is Jürg (Georg W. Messmer -;). I was born in the middle of the last century (1951), a fact that I am aware of but recommend to be ignored. The master in Psychology of the University of Zürich has had an impact in my life though my practical experiences in the field are limited to two years in job counselling and therapeutic work.
Most of my live I have preferred to work in more practical fields which were mostly related to medias. Television and film work had been the predominant topics (9 years of online editing and one year of Sendungsleiter). Also I pursued the semiprofessional hobby of cabinet making for many years whenever I could manage.
Since 1997 I have been working as a freelancer in my own small company and where my main focus gradually moved to webwork. Ever since then I abandoned all the other fields of interest - including woodwork - since the task required full attention from a knowhow point of view as well as a business perspective. As a consequence my [work-] live has changed dramatically. New cooperations, new challenges have lead to a rich combination that I've been trying to keep in balance ever since.
